Red Cross Names New Board Officers and Members

NEW PHILADELPHIA – The Muskingum Lakes Chapter of the American Red Cross has recently selected two new board officers and three new board members to serve on the 2012 Board of Governors.
Linda Egler, of The First National Bank of Dennison, has been named the new Chapter Chairman after serving on the board since 2002.
“Egler has played an instrumental role on the board for the past several years,” said Muskingum Lakes Chapter Executive Director, Chad Conrad. “She is a community-minded individual who brings experience and leadership to her new role. Under her leadership we will continue to improve the programs and services the Red Cross offers to the community.”
Egler replaces Kyle Stemple, of Rea and Associates Accounting, Inc. who leaves the office after serving as Chapter Chair for the past two years. Stemple will remain on the board of governors.
Board member Kasey Rippel of Crossroads Hospice was appointed as new Vice Chair while treasurer, Jane Sloan of Huntington Bank and secretary, Brenda Parrish of Lauren Manufacturing will continue to serve in their positions.
“We are very pleased to have such a high quality board that is dedicated to working closely with us,” said Conrad. “They are leaders in our communities and businesses who truly understand the important role of Red Cross services for anyone in need of disaster relief or emergency preparedness training in Carroll, Harrison and Tuscarawas counties.”
In addition, three new individuals have joined the board of governors, Greg Dorris, First Federal Community Bank; Beth Kaser, Dover Chemical; and George Ash, Harrison Hills City Schools.
